NOTICE AND TAKEDOWN PROCEDURE

This website hosts text, photos and other materials that may have not been created by Open State Foundation. We have no effective control over the contents of the material on some of our websites.* Did you spot something that you believe should not be on this website? Please send an email to contact@openstate.eu. We’ll make sure to process your notice as soon as possible and, if needed, remove the illegal or infringing materials.

You can send us an email, for example, if you believe our website contains hate speech or discriminatory and/or offensive content. If you’re in any of the photos on our website and want the photo to be taken down, you can contact us as well. Another example is when you are the rightful owner of an intellectual property right and think your material is featured on our website. If it becomes apparent from your e-mail that the scraped material is illegal/infringing, we will act expeditiously to remove it from our website immediately.

*This website hosts scraped content. This means we automatically re-use texts and photos for some of our projects. The reason we scrape is because our mission is to encourage the re-use of open government data. We scrape, for instance, news articles by (local) political parties or publications by Ministries or Provinces. By automatically collecting such content in one place, we aim to improve the accessibility to political and government information and thereby foster Dutch democracy. This also means we have no actual control over the content of such materials - the original authors of the materials do. If you believe certain materials are infringing or illegal, we recommend you also contact the original creator of that content.
