The six PSD deputies elected by Aveiro have just asked the Minister of Health about the lack of doctors in the emergency services of hospitals in Aveiro and Águeda. In a question that was entered in Parliament, the deputies reveal that "on the night of August 22, the emergency service of the Hospital of Aveiro did not have enough doctors to ensure the full operation of this service and that were being requested the only two doctors who were in the emergency service of the Hospital of Águeda, forcing the closure of this service during the night time".

For the PSD, "the problems in the emergency services of these two hospital units, Águeda and Aveiro, are public knowledge and, unfortunately, do not run out in the reported episode that can not go unnoticed". The PSD wants to know what measures the Ministry will take to solve a problem that harms emergency health care in the aveiro region. The Minister of Health is aware of this situation? What is the situation of the human resources of the emergency services of these two hospital units of Águeda and Aveiro? Can you assure you that this situation will not be repeated? What steps are being taken to ensure the full functioning of these emergency services?
