The Council of the Conservative People's Party of Estonia warns that the power parties that refuse to ease the price increase and enforce inhumane health policies will lead the Estonian state into a deep crisis.

The current government's indifferent attitude towards a severe price increase ahead of Estonia is, in our opinion, criminal and irresponsible. Members of the government need to understand that the overall increase in prices caused by the rise in electricity prices threatens the daily livelihood of the population, the sustainability of the country's economy and social stability. The price of electricity could be controlled by lowering network charges, temporarily leaving the CO2 trading system, setting a national price and benefiting from VAT. Instead of acting, however, the two parties in power are talking about how prices should rise in the interests of the green turnaround. Ekre finds impreising the impoverishment of the people and the destruction of the economy in the name of far-left green ideology unacceptable without concession. The government and the Riigikogu have a responsibility to ensure the basic coping and well-being of our people. Inaction is neither excusable nor forgivable. Similarly, a coronapolicy that violates the government's constitution and creates societal tensions is neither excusable nor forgivable. We are deeply concerned about the introduction of national coercive mechanisms and the communication that ridicules unvaccinated people. We will not accept a situation where the government has aggressively imposed on society measures whose expediency as a solution to the coronavirus crisis is questionable. As in the rest of the world, the principle of freedom of vaccines must continue to apply in Estonia. In order to divide society and undermine humanity, we also consider the recent calls by a number of high-ranking Members of the Reform Party to start punishing people who have not been implicated and to push them backwards in the overall order of care. It is notorious and embarrassing that a policy that values such people and is less valuable is driven by a party that calls itself liberal. As national conservatives, we consider the unity of society to be important. We therefore believe that the Estonian state must not be governed by governments that pit people against each other and create more of them instead of solving problems. We call on people to show their attitude in elections to politicians of government parties who do not care about Estonia or the Estonian people. Only by not electing the parties of power will it be possible to put a limit on the policies that are damaging to our country.
