Press conference, 7th September 2019.Na press conference titled the "Party of Labour" Model of the isolidarity for increased wage in education held on 12 October.

In August 2019 we presented the initiative of the Labour and Solidarity party for 17% of the increase of the wage workers and teachers of employees in primary and secondary schools in the Republic of Croatia. In this way, the benefits of teachers and teachers in primary and secondary schools with educators and professional associates in the kindergartens of the city of Zagreb would be equed. We expected an appropriate response from the competent ministry, but a 68,000 Teachers will, in all likelihood, start either by strike or with a salary that is inappropriate for the teacher's call, and is not in line with the fact that teachers, teachers and professional associates in schools are highly educated experts. We at the Labor and Solidarity Party still think that teachers and educators are more important than school buildings and equipment, that they are the soul of the school and that no modern technology can replace a competent teacher in the education of our children. That is precisely why we support teachers and teachers in their struggle for betterwages. The last time the minister asked us how much would be the proposed increase of 17%. We, in order to end the needless controversy, demand the information ourselves. In primary schools for the salaries of employees, 4.7 billion kunagross is allocated. In secondary schools, the salaries of employees are 2.6 billion kunagross. With an increase of 17% in order to pay the same salaries in Zagreb, an additional 1 billion and 240 million kuna should be allocated. This would mean that instead of the previous 7.3 billion Kuna in the Budgetcroatian Audience for 2020. More than 8 billion Kuna should be allocated.
