In Schwerin, according to a report by Die Welt, the deportation of an asylum seeker has been cancelled after he has denied the question of the police whether he wants to be deported. The Honorary Chairman, Dr. Alexander Gauland, informs us: "This absurd case exemplifies the complete failure of the German deportation policy. It is ludicrous that the police should obtain the consent of the person concerned in the event of a deportation. What's next? This exposes our rule of law to ridicule. A state that is unwilling or unable to enforce who is allowed to reside within its borders and who is not is completely implausible. The consequences are fatal: once you have entered Germany, you can stay in Germany virtually forever, even if you have crossed the border illegally and are not entitled to asylum. This is also demonstrated by the ever-decreasing number of deportations. Federal Minister of the Interior Horst Seehofer must finally follow up his countless announcements of a deportation offensive with action and ensure that foreigners who are obliged to leave the country actually leave the country. And it must be remembered again and again that if the German borders were consistently controlled and asylum seekers who wish to enter Germany from a safe third country were immediately turned away, such cases would not exist at all. In any case, a ruling by the European Court of Human Rights on so-called 'push-backs', i.e. collective expulsions of illegally entered migrants into the EU, does not see Spain's violation in the immediate repatriation of illegal invaders. On the basis of this ruling, Germany can also expel or reject illegal migrants at the border."
