Constanta is preparing its future.

It is not a slogan, but a fact. The works we carry out in the educational institutions in the city at the time I write to you prove unequivocally the road we have chosen to take. Below, I present briefly what is the status of the projects that the Constanta City Hall implements in schools, high schools and kindergartens in the city. I would like to mention that all these benefit from budgeting from European funds, with two exceptions that I will point out and which are financed through the PNDL.La School nr. 16 "Marin Ionescu Dobrogianu" we have completed the works on The C1 Building, and we are currently working in Building C2 and C3 Building, where we perform interior and roof works. The value of the project is approx. 6.5 million lei. As for School no. 38 "Dimitrie Cantemir", the project provides for the improvement of the energy efficiency of the building. So far we have completed the installation of PVC joinery, and we are currently working on the interior, exterior thermosystem and fire water tank installations. The project has a value of approx. 5.4 million lei. We also carry out works to improve the energy efficiency at the building secondary school nr. 17 "Ion Minulescu" and secondary school nr. 8. In Minulescu, the works are 95% completed, and their reception we estimate will take place in May. Here, the project has a value of 4.2 million lei. At School nr. 8, we have completed the replacement of the roof, and now we are working on the interior installations. Also, the stage at the replacement of PVC joinery as well as at the thermosystem is 50%. The project has a value of 4.8 million lei. The rehabilitation and modernization of the Technological High School of Electrotechnics and Telecommunications has a value of 10.2 million lei, and at the moment we are executing works on the thermosystem. Also, the modernization and endowment of the Dimitrie Leonida Technological High School (Ateliere Corp.), with a value of 7.7 million lei, reached the stage of reinforcement works for foundations (consolidation). Both the modernization and endowment of the Nicolae Rotaru Sports High School with a sports program (approx. 10.1 million lei) and the consolidation and modernization of the table tennis hall within it (3.9 million lei) are two projects that benefit from funding through PNDL. In the high school building we have completed the interior installations and currently we have switched to interior finishes (plaster, screed, plasterboard partitions) and thermosystem. At the table tennis hall, the works are executed in a proportion of 70%. Both at the Kindergarten "Amicii" and at the kindergarten with extended program "Mugurel", the modernization works are executed in a proportion of 40%. The value of the two projects amounts to 10 million lei (6 million lei for "Amicii" and 4 million lei for "Mugurel"). I assure you that all these works are of good quality and are more than necessary for the future of our city.
