On the 8th of June it cost you to vote GreenThe ADPD candidates presented their nominations for the 8 June elections at the offices of the Electoral Commission in Naxxar.Addressing the press, ADPD Chairperson Sandra Gauci said: "It is my pleasure to present to you the ADPD candidates for the European Parliament and local councils for the 8 June elections.

Our list of candidates includes a mix of experience as well as new blood and the return of people who were active in the past and who are now making their contribution again." I am convinced that these candidates inspire the trust of voters for a change we so desperately need in the way politics is operated in our country. We do not distribute cheques on the eve of the election nor organise activities with exaggerated spending. We struggle to make our voices heard in the media as well." So it's up to the voter to go beyond the rhetoric and get his message across that he really wants an improvement in his quality of life. It costs you to vote on June 8. And it costs you a lot more to vote GREEN. It costs you because a vote on green means a vote in favour of a policy in favour of the common good, a better quality of life and a well-being economy," gauci concluded. The ADPD candidates for the 8 June elections are as follows: For the European Parliament: Dr Ralph Cassar, Rachelle Deguara, Sandra Gauci and Mina Jack Tolu; For the Local Council: Dr Ralph Cassar (Attard), Samuel Vella (Balzan), Mark Zerafa (Birkirkara), Dr Melissa J Bagley (Birżebbuġa), Brian Decelis (Marsaskala), Janet Walker (Tal-Pietà) and Sandra Gauci (St Paul's Bay). I am convinced that these candidates inspire trust in change that we so desperately need seeing how politics is done in our country.   We do not distribute cheques on the eve of an election, and we don't organise extravagant and expensive activities. It is therefore up to the voter to venture beyond rhetoric and send a clear message that they truly want an improvement in the quality of life.  Voting on the 8th of June is the right thing to do.  And it is also the right thing to do to vote GREEN. It's the strongest message in favour of serious politics based in our common good, our quality of life and a wellbeing economy," she said. ADPD General Secretary Dr Ralph Cassar mentioned that ADPD as a party is at a disadvantage in the electoral process, with the Electoral Commission consisting of PLPN members who take advantage of the practice of having access to lists of registered voters who decide not to vote, something that ADPD has always refused to accept.
