Today, Ainars Bašķis, a member of the New Conservative faction of the Saeima, was elected by the Parliament to work in the Defence, Internal Affairs and Corruption Prevention Commission of the Saeima and the Request Commission.

Ainars Bašķis' candidacy for both commissions had been nominated by members of our Parliamentary faction.
