Municipalities 2020: our solutions to the RN6 February 2020 - Last week, Stanislas Guerini and Pierre Person travelled to the South-East and Hauts-de-France respectively to meet walkers who say no to the inevitability of extreme voting.

All day on Saturday, February 1st, Stanislas Guerini crisscrossed the var department, a land where the growth potential of the National Gathering is high. There is room for dialogue, then, with local residents and traders who are sometimes suspicious of the political apparatus but often convinced that it is possible to change things by talking about projects that work and the values that unite us. Walkers say no to inevitability. Like our candidate for mayor of Cuers, Christine Ibanez, who refuses to give in to the pessimistic discourse of the National Rally. She chose to carry an optimistic project for her commune, to make it more attractive and make it an ecological model.Like all rural municipalities, Cuers in the Var has its share of difficulties. Our candidate, Christine Ibanez, has chosen to fight to revive her commune, make it more attractive and make it an ecological model. When we resign, we will always choose the solutions. pic.twitter.com/TiaIm7Uq2E— Stanislas Guerini (@StanGuerini) February 1, 2020A hundreds of kilometres away, Pierre Person exchanged with residents of the Hauts-de-France, a territory where the springs of the RN vote are very different, but where the subject remains the same: to be tempted by extreme voting. A reality that reinforces our conviction: it is by proposing optimistic solutions for our territories that we will be a bulwark against the "miserable discourse" of the RN." Every time we bring solutions to these crises, with people from civil society who are very well established in their territory, we push back the Front. "Stanislas Guerini, 1 February 2020Territorial divides lead to the use of rn voting. This was explained by the LaREM Members of Parliament from the South-East at the public meeting in Saint-Raphael. Welcomed by our candidate for the municipality, Sandrine Hacquard, MPs Valérie Gomez-Bassac (Var), Françoise Dumas (Gard), Alexandra Valetta-Ardisson (Alpes-Maritimes) and Adrien Morenas (Vaucluse) presented the levers of the RN vote and recalled the importance of bringing these local and parliamentary issues up to the national and parliamentary level to combat the ideology of extremes. In St-Raphael, my message is unambiguous: LaREM will assume its responsibilities against the FN by making clear choices in the 1st and 2nd rounds of municipal elections. It is with projects and solutions that we will roll back this party which is experiencing only difficulties! pic.twitter.com/Nadxk9Ge0g— Stanislas Guerini (@StanGuerini) February 1, 2020We need local answers. Candidates from at-risk cities in the Southeast expressed the importance of providing local responses to the causes of the RN vote. From Fréjus to Avignon via Cassis, Valletta-du Var and Saint-Maximin-la-Sainte-Baume, we will carry a dynamic of optimistic projects. We will finally appeal to the Republican choice if necessary to avoid the arrival of the RN in the municipality. This is the unambiguous message that our Delegate General wanted to remind us: our Movement will assume its responsibilities against the RN by making clear choices in the 1st and 2nd rounds of the municipal elections. Pierre Person confirmed this position during his speech in Lille late on Saturday at the 2020 Forum of Young People With Macron: in the face of the formation of Marine Le Pen, our Movement will make "the choice of republican responsibility." In #municipales2020, we will make @enmarchefr the choice of Republican responsibility. Everywhere, we will make the best choice not to be the walker of the RN! Everywhere, we will fight against any form of porosity with extremes. #ForumJAM2020 pic.twitter.com/nXNLF2GL2J— Pierre PERSON (@Pierr_Person) February 1, 2020The Fist Action of the Young People With MacronIn the context of their 2020 forum, the Young With Macron (JAM) spent the afternoon in five communes held or coveted by the National Rally: Calais, Condé-sur-l'Escaut, Denain, Hénin-Beaumont and Marchiennes. The aim was to meet the inhabitants to renew the extreme dialogue and avoid the extreme vote. A successful operation for the 250 or so JAM members present who, via a questionnaire prepared upstream, were able to exchange serenely with the residents about their concerns. Everywhere, we will make the best choice not to be the walker of the RN! Everywhere, we will fight against any form of porosity with extremes. »
