The President of the Committee for Internal Policy and national security Ranko Ostojić (SDP) said on Friday that he received an answer from the state's attorney's office that there was no reasonable doubt regarding the accusations by Croatian President Kolinda Grabar Kitarovic against Ex-head of SOA Dragan Lozančić.

" We got the answer that there was no reasonable doubt. I consider that DORH is the competent authority, since we cannot call Lozančić or Grabar-Kitarović, which should be determined whether or not there is reasonable doubt. I still stand there, we will wait for the response of DORH in a repeated effort, pointing to a law that clearly says they should take such actions, "Ostojic told reporters in the Croatian Parliament regarding his request that the DORH initiate proceedings concerning the accusations Croatian president Kolinde Grabar Kitarovic versus former SOA chief Dragan Lozančić. He thinks that that was sufficient grounds for DORH to initiate the inquiry and request an explanation of what this is all about. Ostojic also said that Grabar-Kitarovic, who has been managing the security system, cannot explain why someone was sacked just to give a hint that he was doing something contrary to the law or that he abused his position. He said that Lozancic was the director of SOA, and he should know why he left. He also noted that "in DORH there is a line of least resistance to many things," even in that case. "I think it's a clean, unresenting thing. The best thing would be for the public to clear it up and clarify it and not keep it under the veil of secrecy, "he said. Ostojic believes it is necessary to look at why Lozančić was sacked, and he was a pro for Minister Davor Bozinovic, he was also a former security adviser to the President of the Republic, and for Grabar-Kitarović it is not. He thinks that there is no reason why Lozančić could not become an advisor to President-elect Zoran Milanovich because, he explained, there are no barriers to his appointment.
