Last year, the climatological winter did not reach us like this – in the three months of winter, only a few days were recorded when the ground was covered by snow cover.

This was the first such case in the history of meteorological observations in Lithuania. The average winter air temperature for 2019 was 2.6 °C, when the average was around 2.8 °C before 10 years ago.
