Global processes require urgent change in our way of life and thinking.

Climate change must also be taken seriously in education. We need competences that prepare you for the global treatment of the social, cultural, economic and environmental problems of the present and future. We need an education that creates active motivation in interactive and integrated methods. On the other hand, the current core curriculum is just a sound, mood-to-mood interlude: it has sustainability goals and opportunities that are really necessary for the right approach, but it remains at the level of words. According to the LMP faction, the integration of basic agricultural knowledge into the curriculum would be a good opportunity to shape the sustainability approach. With the practical experience of tracking food from master to table, the development of school gardens, students would also gain a great deal of experience on a project basis. Cross-border education guidelines and systemic competences would help to connect nature and the specificities of the local community, to develop their own environmental consciousness.
