ODS closer to you: MPs went to the Pilsen Region to explain the need to consolidate public finances and refute numerous lies of the opposition(www.ods.cz) ODS closer to you – is the name of an outgoing tour during which the Civic Democrats travel around the Czech Republic from west to east, north to south.

The next stop for the representatives of the ODS parliamentary group was the Pilsen Region. During their trip, Jan Skopeček, Eva Decroix and Rudolf Salvetr visited the towns of Klatovy, Plzeň and Rokycany, where they openly discussed current issues during meetings with local citizens: primarily the need to consolidate public finances, pension reform, subsidy policy, and refute numerous lies or half-truths of the opposition, which unfortunately still move the disinformation scene and artificially negatively stir the mood in society." In the Pilsen Region, we have opened discussions with prominent entrepreneurs several times – for the first time in the Klatovy poultry plant on the topics of competitiveness or subsidy policy. For the second time in Pilsen at a round table with local entrepreneurs. I very much appreciate the open and feedback directly from the representatives of the business sector involved, it is important for my further defence of sole traders and entrepreneurs," said Jan Skopeček, Vice-President of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic. Skopeček also appreciated the students of the Klatovy grammar school, where he had the opportunity to constructively discuss during the meeting in the school's auditorium in the morning: "During an intensive debate at the grammar school, I had the opportunity to explain the need for sound state management and consolidation of public finances, which is essential for this particular generation. Economic education is a fundamental pillar for a capable state." I gladly accepted the invitation to the Pilsen Region, where we followed up on the tour of the Civic Democrats around the country with today's trip. In Hrádek u Rokycany, we highlighted the development of the town. Mayor Marcela Sobotková is a great woman, a mayor in the right place, behind whom real results are visible," said Eva Decroix, the first deputy chairwoman of the ODS parliamentary group, immediately after the meeting. The MP, together with regional representative Ilona Mauritzová, also visited the neighboring Harmonie Social Services Center in Mirošov, where she highlighted the work of social workers and all the leisure activities they offer to local clients." Finally, I appreciated the open evening discussion with citizens in Rokycany, which brought me further inspiration in my work in the Chamber of Deputies," added Eva Decroix.ODS representatives will follow up their tour in the coming weeks by visiting the regions of Ústí nad Labem, Liberec, Central Bohemia and Vysočina.regional development Taxes and public finances press release Education Science and Research Promoting entrepreneurship Labour and social affairs Pilsen Region ODS closer to you
