The state has become a spoil for the right-wing ACPL Press Representative, Stefanos Stefanou Recent appointments of Directors-General of Ministries confirm that the Democratic Alarm methodically implements a plan for total control of the public administration.

People of known abilities and experience have been pushed back to promote the chosen ones of the Alarm and the Presidential. Moreover, the specific complaints of the ACPL about service plans that are arbitrarily changing and promotions that are shared in order to make themselves more comfortable have remained unanswered for many months. From the appointments of Directors-General of Ministries, to promotions to CYTA and recruitment to Public Works, from the promotions of the Governor of the Presidential Guard to the finally invalid appointment of a party official to the management of the Press and Information Office, they all make up an organized plan to control the entire state machine from the Alarm. Appointments, promotions, recruitment, the whole state has become a spoil for the Right. When they insist on practices that damage the productivity of public administration and promote worthlessness, then it is obvious that they are not interested in reforming the Public Service, but in controlling and subjugating it completely. There is an even more urgent need for drastic institutional incisions in the Public Service in order to annihilate or minimise the scope for such arbitrariness of the Alarm and of any future government. To this end, the ACPL undertakes an effort to work out specific proposals.
