In the name of the rebellious France, Manuel Bompard responded to the President of the Republic after his new deplorable communication operation.

Here is his letter to her today. Mr President of the Republic, you sent me this Thursday, September 7, a draft statement of conclusions of the meeting organized on Wednesday, August 30 in Saint-Denis by inviting the leaders of political parties. Contrary to what you indicate in your letter, we have never agreed that the national and international context requires the establishment of such a discussion format. Opposed to the presidential monarchy, we consider on the contrary that the political debates essential to face the crises that afflict our country must take place in the Parliamentary Assemblies. We are therefore totally opposed to the multiplication of these operations to circumvent democratic debate in its institutional forms. For us, these are deplorable communication campaigns without effect to which you think you have accustomed the country. With regard to the draft statement of conclusions which you have forwarded to us, it calls for the following comments on my part. 1- On the international situation La France insoumise, through its presidential candidate Jean-Luc Mélenchon, was the first political force to condemn Russian aggression against Ukraine. In this respect, we welcome the fact that you take note of the unanimous denunciation among the political forces of this military offensive, and we therefore hope, in coherence, that you will stop attributing to my political party a false complacency with the Russian regime. You are in a good position to know this since you have provided your personal assistance so that we can welcome anti-war Russian refugees and we have thanked you publicly. On the France's policy towards this conflict, we reaffirm that there is no military solution to this war and that our country must play an active diplomatic role to allow a return to peace as soon as possible, with respect for Ukraine's territorial integrity and international law. In the meantime, We believe that everything must be done to prevent a catastrophe even greater than the one before us. We have also told you that we would like the France to take an initiative at the UN for the protection of nuclear power plants on Ukrainian territory, as requested by the Ukrainian Parliament and as we have been proposing for several months. With regard to the situation in Africa, we question the responsibility of your policy for the deterioration of relations between the African peoples and the France. You even have a direct responsibility since many of your personal actions during your travels have been considered a simply unbearable contempt. Your refusal to learn from these attitudes does not bode well for the troubled time we are experiencing. You have put the France at an impasse in Africa. As far as we are concerned, we want to build a new relationship with Africa, free from the logic of domination and based on respect for the sovereignty of peoples. As such, we still ask for a debate in the National Assembly to take stock of French military operations and their political consequences in the area. On other topics that you touched on briefly, we remind you that we have called for stronger action by the France for peace in Armenia and for a lasting political solution in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. From a more general point of view, we pointed to the need for a France strategy based on non-alignment and anti-globalization diplomacy at a time of major geopolitical and climatic developments on a global scale. 2- On the democratic life of the country Contrary to what you indicate, we are not united around the idea that the main problem of the country was the lack of clarity and legibility of public action. On the contrary, we have told you that the democratic crisis that is hitting the country today stems largely from the refusal of the various political parties that have succeeded each other in power to respect popular sovereignty. As such, the action that has been yours for several
