On the occasion of International Women's Day, and organized by Women 365 of the City of Zagreb, on March 8th numerous members, activists and sympathizers laid red roses and lit candles at the final resting place of party president Milan Bandic on Mirogoj.Commissioner Woman 365 of the City of Zagreb Tamara Čubretović on this occasion pointed out:"Our boss has been giving women roses every year in the 20 years he has served as head of the City.

That's the way it was supposed to be this year, but unfortunately he left us recently. And that's why today was the other way around! The roses that he normally gave to women, today women left on his grave in gratitude and a rooster because he really especially appreciated and respected women." The party's president, Zagreb Mayor Milan Bandic, has always called for the need for even greater equality between women in society and emphasized their great role in the political life of the city of Zagreb.
