Interview Manolis Christodoulakis, Secretary of the Movement for Change, in the newspaper "New Page"You asked for the establishment of a cross-party committee for the protection of the first residence.

Why? One of the major issues that are the core of this strategy is the protection of the first residence. PASOK, in the midst of the crisis, protected weak borrowers and even in the coming years constantly presented new proposals for the modernisation of the legal framework. SYRIZA without a safe framework and with increased terms and conditions of accession undermined the existing law and nd has so far not presented the slightest proposal of what will happen with the first residence since 1/5 that institutionally ends its protection. Because for us it is about being useful and not just to address the needs and rights of citizens, as others do, we consider it necessary to consult the citizens of forces on such a crucial issue concerning the daily lives of thousands of our fellow citizens. So at the initiative of F. Gennimata, our proposal is officially on the table, and from then on let all assume their responsibilities. The House is the area in which all political forces are placed, formulate their proposals and positions, intervene and claim for those who everyone wants to represent. In this context, just our targeting is not just 'to put it right'. But much more so our proposals and positions to demand that we make them majority and therefore applicable for the benefit of the Greek citizens. So since, on the basis of our framework of political self-determination, political convergences arise on individual issues, which enhance the applicability of our legislative interventions, this is obviously a legitimate thing. Regardless of course, of party colours and therefore clearly without second thoughts, insinuations or conspiratocratic fantasies. It divides you an abyss; However, our political and ideological distinctness is not only defined in terms of perelthology. Because even today we are talking about a SYRIZA that, perhaps even with political audacity, has not made a shred of serious and not communicative self-criticism, has not shaken up the populism and demagoguery that characterise its overall political function, recreating an arbitrary partisan formation with people from across the ideological spectrum without any common ideological reference, without any political identity and with the sole coherent element of the prospect of recapturing power. We disagree politically, we disagree in our perception of the functioning of the institutions and the quality of democracy, we disagree on our perception of morality in politics, we disagree on our perception of the requirement of consistency of speeches and works. We identify ourselves and move on. Do you think that the success of its management requires broader political consensus? And of major national importance. Therefore, micro-party approaches are obviously not available in its management, but dialogue and consultation between political forces on common positions and solutions are required responsibly and seriously. Instead, unfortunately, we have seen a SYRIZA, trapped in ideologies, creating the squalid conditions of the Eastern Aegean both from a humanitarian point of view and for local communities, putting the bar very low in the management of the issue. Similarly, however, we have also seen the ND manage to cross this bar, proving that it was completely unprepared and without any plan for such a serious matter. Result all
